1. General

These terms of service (“Terms”) apply to the services provided by HL Charter Oy, doing business as Helsinki Limo (business ID 2458816-0) (“Service Provider”). By ordering the service or registering in the reservation system, the customer (“Customer”) accepts these Terms and agrees to comply with them. Please review these Terms before ordering the service by phone, email, or through the electronic reservation system.

2. Service Description

The term “Service” in these Terms refers to the transportation services provided by the Service Provider, which the Customer can order by phone, email, or through the reservation system at https://www.store.helsinkilimo.com. These Terms apply to all transportation orders made through the aforementioned methods. The purpose of these Terms is to regulate the rights and obligations between the Service Provider and the Customer, describing the conditions related to the ordering, cancellation, and payment of the Service. The Service Provider reserves the right to make changes to the Terms at any time, and the Customer agrees to comply with the Terms in force at the time of the order.

3. Ordering the Service

The Customer orders the Service by phone, email, or through the reservation system at https://www.store.helsinkilimo.com. By ordering the Service, the Customer makes a binding reservation for the transportation service. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information provided to the Service Provider. If the Service is ordered on behalf of another person, the Customer is responsible for having the appropriate authority to provide the other person’s information to the Service Provider. If the Customer orders the Service on behalf of an organization, they are responsible for having the authority to represent the organization and accept the Terms on behalf of both themselves and the represented entity. The Customer must inform the Service Provider of any changes to the information if necessary for the provision of the Service. The Service Provider is not responsible for problems arising from the use of missing, incorrect, or outdated information in the provision of the Service.

4. Service Price and Payment

The Service Provider charges for the Service according to its price list. Service prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include value-added tax. If the Customer has special requests related to transportation, the Service Provider may charge additional fees as specified in its price list. The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, once the Customer has received the order confirmation, the Service Provider no longer has the right to change prices. For orders made through the electronic reservation system (https://www.store.helsinkilimo.com), the payment is processed by Paytrail Oyj (business ID 2122839-7), registered in the Financial Supervisory Authority’s payment institution register. In case of payment issues, the Customer is requested to contact the Service Provider’s customer service first.

5. Canceling the Service Order

The Customer must cancel the Service through the online store’s control panel, by phone to the Service Provider’s customer service at +358 100 3000, or by email to info@helsinkilimo.com, according to the general cancellation conditions determined by the type of equipment. General cancellation conditions by equipment type:

  • Business sedan and minivan: If the Service order is canceled less than 12 hours before the scheduled departure, the Service Provider has the right to charge the Customer the full price (100%) of the Service.
  • Luxury sedan and bus: If the Service order is canceled 24–12 hours before the scheduled departure, the Service Provider has the right to charge the Customer half (50%) of the Service price. Exceptional cancellation conditions are separately agreed upon between the Service Provider and the Customer during the quotation phase. If the Customer’s ordered transportation does not arrive at the agreed time, the Customer must immediately contact the Service Provider’s order service at +358 100 3000. If the Customer does not arrive at the agreed time, attempts will be made to contact them by phone. If the Customer cannot be reached by phone, the driver will wait for the Customer at the agreed location for 10 minutes after the agreed time.

6. Complaints

In case of any complaints, the Customer should contact the Service Provider’s order service by phone at +358 100 3000 as soon as possible.

7. Data Protection

The Service Provider complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection legislation in processing personal data. The Service Provider acts as the data controller under the applicable data protection laws. The Service Provider is responsible as the data controller for the Customer’s personal data and its lawful processing according to the applicable data protection laws. The Service Provider processes personal data in accordance with the principles outlined in the Service’s privacy policy [link here]. The Customer accepts these principles when ordering the Service. The Service Provider ensures the security of its Service in a generally acceptable manner and efficiently, using appropriate technical solutions to prevent unauthorized access to its information systems. When registering for the electronic reservation system, the Customer is responsible for keeping their username and password confidential.

8. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to Finnish law. Disputes related to these Terms or the Service referred to in these Terms are first attempted to be resolved through negotiations between the contracting parties. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiations are ultimately settled in the Helsinki District Court.
